Some views just turn my mind away from work and towards vacation like nothing else. Woods, quiet, lingering birds and insect making a backdrop of soothing sounds, all lull my rushing brain into a slower pace. There's nothing quite like it. And we're blessed enough to get a whole weekend away to soak it all in, staying at our favorite Makanda Inn.
